Kevin & Christina's Eagle Creek Wedding

Kevin and Christina's outdoor wedding was a breath of fresh air in our wedding season this year. We love all kinds of weddings, but there will always be a special place in my heart for small, outdoor gatherings. Kevin and Christina said their vows in front of 40 or so of their dearest friends and family. There wasn't a minister in the traditional sense. Several people who are very close K & C shared during the ceremony and it was so beautiful and sincere. Their reception felt like a big family dinner. They skipped the dancing and toasts and instead, spent their time laughing and taking photos with their guests. 

I think the thing that we loved most about photographing this day was the amount of trust that Kevin and Christina had in us. They blocked out plenty of time for their portraits and we were able to get some really lovely, romantic shots. The photos by the water at sunset are some of my favorites from the whole 2013 wedding season. They had their "first dance" right there by the water. There was no music, but we could hear Christina singing something softly just for Kevin. It was perfect.
